Nigerian Human Rights lawyer, Femi Falana has accused supporters of VeryDarkMan of threatening both him and his family, specifically stating that they would kill his daughter if he pursued legal action against VDM.
The conflict arose after Martins Vincent Itse, popularly known as Verydarkman aka (VDM) made controversial claims about Femi Falana and his son, rapper Folarin Falana popularly known as (Falz), while exposing Idris Ikuneye Olanrewaju widely known as Bobrisky on social media.
In a recent interview late yesterday Monday, 7th October, 2024, Falana stated that the most troubling aspect of the current situation is the safety of his children.

Falana revealed that he has received disturbing messages from VDM’s supporters, warning that they would harm his daughter if he pursued legal action against the critic.
The conflict between the Falanas and VDM intensified after VDM made claims regarding Falana and his son, rapper Folarin ‘Falz’ Falana, while also exposing controversial figure Bobrisky on social media.
According to Falana, the most alarming aspect of this situation is the safety of his kids.
He recounted instances where individuals threatened to burn down his office and issued dire warnings to his daughter regarding potential harm, should he decide to go to court.
“The only disturbing area in this scenario is the threat to me and one of my two daughters, some of these guys who I believe are mentally deranged had dared me”.
“if you go to court, we shall burn your office”. They have also sent messages to one of my daughters that if your father goes to court, we shall kill you. I beg your pardon! In this country?! I just laughed and told my girl, don’t worry, I will take it up and I’ve already taken that up because we must also let these guys know where we are coming from,” Falana said.
Falana’s alleged claims has also a parked mixed reactions on social media, with some online users users expressing skepticism about the authenticity of the threats. Some online critics and social media users, has recently aired their comments, suggested that Falana isn’t telling the truth and just wants to bring VDM down.
